As a UX/UI designer, I set out to redesign this non-profit organizations website. After analyzing my user research, I was able to curate the new website. My redesign decisions where based on insights from user testing multiple iterations of the website.

Redesign
In addition to redesigning previously existing websites and apps, developing ideas for new apps, from start to finish, is another important aspect of my UX/UI skillset. The app that I created is called Moovy. Moovy is a movie finding app that generates different movie options for a user who just cant figure out what they want to watch in the moment. The movie generation is based on user input signifiers like the users mood, the users desired genre and the users watch history. User focused design and testing was the primary focus in the development of this app. I found that when my team paid close attention to user needs and feedback, it lead to maximum success and enjoyment.
As I work on redesigning the visual components of previously existing websites, I am also focused on repurposing navigation menus and layouts to ensure for a more user friendly experience. Based on user research, I was able to reconfigure the hierarchy of Salon Centric’s drop down menu options to be more dynamic and allow for more productive user interactions.
